In Talis Courseflow, both front-end users like instructors and course developers and back-end users like librarians and digitization teams will see different statuses attached to a Course Reserve request. These statuses depend on the actions taken in the Talis DC by the person fulfilling the request. Below, we will describe what each status means, separated into two categories: Talis Courseflow Course Reserve Statuses and Talis DC Statuses.
Talis Courseflow Course Reserve Statuses (Instructor-Facing)
Awaiting Review: This status indicates that the Course Reserve has been successfully submitted and received by the library or digitization team but has not yet been reviewed.
Expired: This status indicates that the time frame in which the Course Reserve was requested for or was live for has elapsed and the Course Reserve is no longer Live.
Live: This status indicates the Course Reserve has been approved and managed by the library or digitization team. The Course Reserve (physical or digital) is Live and available to students.
Rejected: This status indicates that the course reserve request was denied by the library or digitization team. If the administrator has chosen to provide one, the user will be sent via email an explanation of why the request was rejected.
Withdrawn: This status indicates that the Course Reserve request or Live Course Reserve has been withdrawn by the user who requested it initially. To learn more about how to withdraw a Course Reserve, please visit this support article.
Talis DC Statuses (Librarian Portal)
Expired: This status indicates that the time frame in which the Course Reserve was requested for or was live for has elapsed and the Course Reserve is no longer Live.
Live: This status indicates the Course Reserve has been approved and managed by the library or digitization team. The Course Reserve (physical or digital) is Live and available to students.
Referred: This status indicates that the Course Reserve request has entered the Talis DC platform but has not yet been reviewed by the library or digitization team. Thus, it has been "referred" to the administrator for review.
Rejected: This status indicates that the course reserve request was denied by the library or digitization team. If the administrator has chosen to provide one, the user will be sent via email an explanation of why the request was rejected.
Withdrawn: This status indicates that the Course Reserve request or Live Course Reserve has been withdrawn by the user who requested it initially.
